What the same video costs to shoot
A price on its own means nothing. So here is the other one.
This is a single shoot day with a small crew and one location. Every rate below is the bottom of the published range, not the middle. A real day runs higher, and most videos take more than one.

Rates are the low end of published 2026 ranges: director $500 to $4,000 a day, camera operator $500 to $2,000, crew $500 to $2,000, camera rental $50 to $100, lighting $40 to $75, editing $500 to $1,000 a day, colour grading about $300 an hour, audio mix about $150 an hour. The same sources put a small one-location music video at $2,000 to $5,000 and a full production at $20,000 to $50,000 and up. We are not counting your time, and we are not pretending a shoot and a render are the same thing. They are not. The point is what each one costs.
